I'm fairly new to DE shaving and started out with Feather blades supplied with my EJ razor.
I've now used the Personna and also Gilllette Silver Blue and can't really tell the difference between them. They all shave closely and all cut me if I'm careless. For future purchases I'll buy whichever of them is cheapest.

Smooth and sharp

Recommended. These are ideal for me - quite sensitive skin with average beard. They seem sharp and yet reasonably smooth. They outperform the only other DB blades I’ve used (Merkur) as they are closer and slightly more comfortable although I don’t think they last quite as long - ok for around 5/6 shaves for me. Decent value too.

I'm fairly new to DE shaving, but I've tried quite a few different types of blades. These have been by far the worst for my face. After the first pass my face began to burn; 8 hours later, it's sore, lumpy and blotchy. I can't really comment on the closeness of the shave. Back to the Astras I think! Just as soon as my face is up to it...

Fairly new to DE razors so still finding my feet so to speak.
I have used these in my Muhle R89 and really got on with them. They are sharp without being intimidatingly so, and allows the razor to glide through stubble with ease.

I found these, for me, to be useless. I've given it a 3 star as it was packaged ok and for some will work fine I'm sure. For a coarse, thick beard as mine is, i think there are much better blades (Astra SP and Feather)

Very good blades, the best I have found so far. 'Personna Platinum' are made in the USA and should not be confused with 'Personna Red' made in Israel (and which I would not buy for political reasons.)

This blade really suits my beard and gives me a very comfortable shave. I get a weeks shaving from one blade, which is better than the other blades I have tried.
It is worth trying if you are looking for an option to "Feather".

I have returned to proper shaving after quite some time with an electric razor. I started with the Wilkinson blades which have been good. A close clean shave with minimal burn or iritation. These were recommended as a quality blade giving a close shave and no irritation. They are perfect with a great shave no burn and they cut through three or four days stubble plus they last. I rate these as a four as i am still looking for perfectionll.

Tried this blade pretty much as an afterthought after trying Derby, Astra & Feather. I have had 5 shaves already with just one blade, and there is still life left in it. Good shave, smooth & comfortable. And, for me, at least, no nicks, irritation or razor burn. Definitely one to consider seriously. Not as sharp as Feather, which didn't do for me (well they almost did!!), but certainly worth a good 4.5*****

I'm not new to proper shaving and every now and then I look to try different blades. Tried these after reading reviews - but the burn is awful, personally speaking. Yes they give a close, smooth shave, but gawd my face stings after!

These blades are one of the best I have used, and are very good value for money. Unlike some others (Derby for example ugh!!!) they do not drag on my skin. It took a long while to find a blade which suited me, and these are the ones. Thanks to Traditional Shaving for a really good service.

These Blades are superb. They are the only ones that come close to my favourite Feather Blades.
I shall rotate them with each other. A really good clean Close shave with no tugging whatsoever. Whatever the make I only use a Blade 3 Times, or 4 at a push. Great value for money too!

I'm an absolute beginner to DE shaving. I started with derby and merkur. these blades were very mild for me. no good for mysensitive skin. It was time for a sharper blade! the personna blade was extremely comfortable and didn't irritate my sensitive neck. no tugging, no pulling, and it glides effortlessly under the weight of the razor. perfect!

Gives you a great Clean shave!

Just trying to reduce plastic consumption in my life, so, I took up with a safety razor and these blades - I was a little worried that going from a twin blade disposable to single edge would by a backward step. Not at all! - good clean shave!

I have tried around 7-8 different brands of blades so far, and this is one of my favourites. It has the extra sharpness of a feather blade without being unforgiving; it lasts a good 4-6 shaves producing consistent results; and I have yet to experience irritation or cuts (despite me being fairly new to the traditional shaving scene). Definitely recommend everyone should try it.

Like these as they are fairly consistent. Am also less likely to destroy my face with my futur using these as I do with feathers. Not full five as around one in every packet for some reason seems more blunt, badly coated than all the others. To be fair 1 out of 10 is alright for two quid and there is a chance that this anomaly is down to shonky technique on my part. Forums state that this is best blade for futur with tough beard/ sensitive skin.

I use it with my Merkur Futur and with my soviet-made adjustable "Ideal". Both show great results, but russian "Sputnik" for its 30 cents cost, does it equally well (at least, for me).

These are the first DE blades I've ever used and I see no reason to switch. They work great with the Merkur HD 34c and since I don't have to pay shipping I've no reason to shop elsewhere either.

I have tried various double edged blades over the last year with my Merkur Futur, but the Personna blades give me the kindest but closest shave ever with the razor set at level 1. They have, for me, beaten Feather!

Really liked these blades best so far. Bit closer than gillette 7s but not as unforgiving as feathers these will be "my" blade for the time being. Work well for me with EJagger.

have tried a few blades since beginning my DE journey wilkinson too sharp for my sensetive skin derbys are great but these are perfect nice close shave with no drag. and no razor burn. great for my awkward combo of sensetive skin and thick hair

Good sharp blade - at this price what's not to like?

An excellent all rounder. I have used this in my EJ89, Merkur Slant and 1950s Gillette Rocket. It has performed well in all of them, and particularly of note is the slant, which is intolerant of anything less than perfectly sharp blades (I usually use Feathers in the slant). This is looking like a go to blade for me.

A lovely, decent, honest blade. The kind of blade you could introduce to your parents.

I recently tried Personna as an alternative to the legendary Feather. At half the cost of the Feather blade I didn't expect too much. The reality is that I found the Personna 'smoother' than Feather. As for sharpness I get four shaves from my Personna blades which matches the four I was getting from Feather. So impressed was I that I purchased 10 packs of 10 blades and now regard Personna as my 'default' blade. Give them a try - you might be pleasantly surprised.

To date I’ve used three of these blades and they have given me good shaves. It’s a sharp cutting blade which feels to have a smooth edge and they last as good as any others I’ve tried so they‘re well worth a go.
