7 O'Clock Sharp Edge Razor Blades

Received these blades as part of the mixed blade package and of all the blades I have used these have to be the worst, I get one good shave with two passes, after that the blade is pulling and tugging at my beard and skin resulting in nicks and cuts and a far from comfortable shave and the reason I changed over to wet shaving was because of the high cost and relative poor quality of Gillette disposable blades and so despite their branding these are most certainly not the best I can get.

These blades are good but I only get 1 good 3 pass shave per blade which is disappointing especially considering where there priced. May be better for people with less course stubble but for me personally these are not as good as Astra purely because I get 1 shave per blade with these but 3 shaves from an Astra blade before it dulls. If you have a course beard I'd pass on these but if you have a less course beard these may be worth a try

Fantastic blades, had only used derby blades before which I am aware are regarded as fairly blunt so was cautious to start with but needn't have been, 4 shaves in no cuts, no irritation. I used to get the odd cut and feel tugging with derby blades but not with these at all. Smooth close shave. I bought these with some Astra blades to do I could compare as they are made by the same company and I suspect in the same factory, not opened them yet but these will take some beating

A decent enough blade, not as good as an Astra, Treet or Lord Platinums but I will definitely try other Gillette blades.

AS a long-term DE shaver I have used many blades and but this blade up with some of the best it gives a comfortable smooth shave

These blades are perfect for me. I started with Feathers, but these are a little more forgiving - yet they cut just as cleanly with no irritation; plus they're good for a minimum of 3 shaves, even on 3-day stubble. Not the cheapest blades but less expensive than Feathers and still good value. If you have sensitive skin and a medium weight beard, I would give them a go.

Very Sharp and comfortable blade, I use this blade on my Futur. They both are very compatible products

Like most long-term traditional shavers I have used many blades over very many years in the quest for the perfect shave. I now default to either 7 O'Clock or Feather as both, in my experience, are as good as it gets.

After many trials with a lot of blades, this is my go to blade for whenever I'm testing a new product. It works in every type of razor for me. I get 4 to 5 shaves from these blades before they stop becoming so smooth.

As comfortable a shave as I've ever had, but for two days only. Third day it started to tug. I haven't got the toughest beard in the world and I expect at least 3 days out of each blade. I'm trying others at the moment. but I may be back.

Changed to this blade from trying the Lord Platinum, I have to say I much prefer this Gilette product, I use it each morning, and find I can have 5 comfortable shaves before I feel drag.

Will re-order when I near the last pack.

Loving the blades, still in process of trying different brands, but these seem to be as good as the others to me. Comfortable to shave with cuts through the stubble with great ease. And great value.

I have been trying different blades a lot just recently and am Pleasantly surprised by the Shave s that I am getting from these.
Sharp, with no Drag whatsoever and very Smooth.
I shall be adding these to my Favourites........You must give them a try like I did..!!

good shave on a par with merkur super I always used, does like them have a tendency to roughen skin not in same league for me as feathers

These are the ones I will be coming back to buy. Best razor from the sample pack, used with Merkur Progress razor. Nice and sharp but didn't cause any irritation and very few nicks. Shave lasted well and got several shaves from each side of the blade. Excellent.

Best blades I've tried so far, very sharp, comfortable and long lasting. Even better than than the Feather and Asta's I think.

An excellent blade. Can vary a bit in quality, but still good. I am now using the first class Wilkinson Sword as I prefer to buy from Europe when I can

Was tempted to bin these outright as didn't feel that close. They did allow for my rather feeble J hooking experiments without mincing up my face and once washed up I found to my surprise that the shave was indeed close. An interesting blade I will keep using.

One of the best blades available. There are others as good but none better. Better than the vaunted Feathers in my book. It's about more than just being sharp.

So far my most preferable blade. Sharp but forgiving - great for novices that want to make the move up from Derby's blades.

I've tried a lot of different brands and so far the Gillette 7 o'clock sharp edge 'yellow' is the most comfortable - very sharp yet forgiving and good for approx 5 shaves per blade. A great blade I'd recommend to anyone.

This is an excellent all-rounder, the only reason that I do not give it five stars is that in a slant it is not quite sharp enough. In my EJ89 and Gillette Rocket though it is brilliant!

These aren t bad, nice and sharp when you start using them but it seems they go blunt a little quicker than other blades. If their sharpness lasted they would have easily got a straight 5, but unfortunately I m giving it a 3.

I received this as part of the sample pack (recommended for all who are new to DE shaving). I used this blade after the Derby and Astra blades. Much sharper and more impressively no razor burn whatsoever. Not sure how much is due to me improving my technique and how much is down to the blade. Very few nicks or cuts, so I m ready to shave sooner rather than having to wait three days for things to settle. My current favourite blade from the sampler pack.
