About Proraso
For almost a century, Proraso has transformed the art of shaving into a pleasurable daily ritual. The year was 1948 when Piero Martelli, on the eve of an economic boom, invented the Proraso Pre Shave Cream. A product whose freshness embodied the spirit of a new found era in Italy. Proraso modelled the new renaissance that was spreading through-out Italy- a fresh new approach to living. Today, as it did then, Proraso meets the needs of its consumers, giving all Italians a perfectly close and refreshing shave.
The Proraso Pre Shave is available in the traditional Eucalyptus and Menthol fragrance and also an unscented version for sensitive skin. When used before shaving it can help to soften the beard hair for a closer and more comfortable shave. Some people also like to use it as an aftershave soother thanks to its mentholated cooling properties.
Proraso is one of our best selling brands thanks to the excellent quality products at an affordable price. The shaving cream may not feel quite as luxurious as some of the more expensive London based brands but it still provides a great lather and a great shave.
Over the years Proraso have added new products to their range but they have always remained faithful to the brands original values; natural ingredients, excellence in research and respect for tradition. The Eucalyptus and Menthol range now includes shaving cream and aftershave to compliment the pre shave cream. Recently a Shea Butter range was introduced for men with heavier beards and a sensitive skin range was made for men who suffer skin irritation when shaving.
The most recent addition to the Proraso line of products is the new ‘Cutting Edge’ range. This range of modern men’s grooming products includes shaving cream, aftershave balm, anti wrinkle cream and more and is aimed at men who want traditional quality products but with a more contemporary appearance.
