For almost a century, Proraso has transformed the art of shaving into a pleasurable daily ritual. The year was 1948 when Piero Martelli, on the eve of an economic boom, invented the Proraso Pre Shave Cream. A product whose freshness embodied the spirit of a new found era in Italy. Proraso modelled the new renaissance that was spreading through-out Italy- a fresh new approach to living. Today, as it did then, Proraso meets the needs of its consumers, giving all Italians a perfectly close and refreshing shave.
This just works. It forms a barrier and instantly stops bleeding from nicks. Miles better than anything else I have tried.
Used it twice I was in too much of a rush and it does what it is supposed to do, not only that but it good for really stubborn spot, TCP proof stubborn, put it over a spot it forms a barrier and tries it out may need a few applications but it worked.
I haven't tried this yet so I can't comment on its quality. However, all of the instructions and, more importantly, warnings about its use, are in Italian, so a translation into English would be welcome, especially the part that starts "AVVERTENZE" which I think means WARNING.
This product has been very useful since i am new to wet shaving. It stops the bleeding from nicks and cuts. Leaves a crusty film on the skin though.
Best cut treatment I have tried, it stops nicks and cuts bleeding almost instantly. A little goes a very long way. An essential bit of kit for a DE shaver.
WOW I think Red Adair used this stuff to cap those oil wells !!!! Brilliant Stuff ....
Sorry cannot comment on this yet because due to my excellent purchases with razor, blades etc, and of course my new shaving technique (being a newby to wet shaving) I have not had purpose to use it.
No more silly pieces of tissue in odd places. A small dab of this will stop most cuts instantly. You don't need a lot so a single tube really goes a long way. When the gel dries it will leave behind small white flakes, but it is easily washed off. Just remember to check the mirror.
Not an essential product, but definitely nice to have.
