I bought this razor a while ago the first time that I had used this company, it is a well engineered razor. Beautifully finished chrome work. Having used the cheap black Wilkinson Sword razor before this.
I found it a little heavy at first and consequently got a few nicks being slightly overzealous with the applied pressure . Now I am accustomed to it and it does give a very close shave, a quality product that will last a lifetime.

My first DE razor so cannot compare but would say the engineering ,chrome and function is absolutely superb and would recommend for a first razor .
Blade changing is very easy and balance great ,I won't be returning to using a triple Quattro fusion razor .
The service I have received from the Traditional Shaving Co. has also without question been superb and I will certainly be making further purchases .
This is a very nice razor mhule and Neil jagger cooperated together to design the head for their razors.bothEJ and mhule are crafted to a very high standard .however I like this razor the chrome work and engineering is peerless the balance and weight is spot on along with the handle length.I like the 2 peice design as it facilitates easy blade changing .The twist to open mechanism is vary smooth and precise as is the blade alignment.This razor comes in at a higher price point but it's nice to see mhule adopting a 2 piece design.this razor is a joy to shave with and is not overly aggressive will make a great day to day razor that should last a lifetime . On these points alone it's definitely worth the money I would have no reservations about recommending this razor.TSC brilliant as usual.
I already own an EdwinJagger DE89 razor that I have been satisfied with. The weight & size of the R89 Twist suits me rather better, I also prefer the two piece arrangement. Very pleased with this purchase.
