Nice and smooth
I use this razor one year and I really like it. First it seems too soft for me and I have bought Muhle R41. But now I use Muhle only with big beard because for everyday shaving 89 razor is really good choise. Knurled handle is better to hold than polished.

very very good
This is a really well made bit of kit and feels solid in the hand. It gives an excellent shave although I'm still experimenting with different blades. Better still it's British made.
Grade
First foray in DE Razors, used for the first time today. Expected to have a few nicks and a bit patchy. However with just passes had a great shave with no nicks
This is a fantastic razor, been using for 3 months now. After finding the right blades which for me are Astra sp blades it's a pleasure, no cuts or redness and a very close shave. Also works well with derby blades although I do feel some pulling with these, also works well with 7 o'clock sharp although for me I only get 1 good shave from them blades. Highly recommend this razor, nice weight and the knurled handle allows for a slip free grip with wet hands
It was love at First sight, touch, and of course, shave!
It's a nice and weighty tool, it feels great in the hand. You can let the weight of the razor do the work. It is not too aggressive, so it is easy to control and make a good shave.
