As it is a gel, if you use even a fraction too much it can be a bit greasy. I guess I was expecting something more like a balm or moisturiser. Not to say I'm unhappy, with the correct application it provides good after shave recovery. The smell is good.

Excellent product which I use just about daily. NIce aroma and leaves your skin feeling smooth and supple. Has the added bonus that my wife thinks it is lovely so go for it guys!
This is a very fine product, Very happy with the results but not 100% on the fragrance, leaves the skin clean, fresh and non greasy. Unlike some do, also you don't need to use a lot so your 75ml will do a good number of shaves worth the money.

Having had this after shave balm for several years now, I can only say it is excellent in every way, smooth skin after use and nice perfume. Only need a little, the size of a small pea for the whole face and neck. Again excellent.

Fantastic product. Leaves a nice clean and fresh feeling. You don't need to use a lot and it leaves a nice smooth finish with a lovely scent. I use it with the Sandalwood shaving soap so work perfectly together.

Having sensitive skin i have to be careful with what product i apply to my face after a shave. I have previously used modern highly scented after shave lotions and found the smell to be false and quite overpowering. I have been using this product for a few days now and will never go back. This balm cools and refreshes freshly shaved skin, i love the subtle smell which tends to linger on even hours after shaving. A small amount of this balm goes a long way so i anticipate this tube lasting a good few weeks. An excellent product, i highly recommend it.
A clear gel rather than a balm. Doesn t require much for a single application. Can be a bit greasy if even slightly too much is used. I prefer a balm myself. As with the TOBS sandalwood shaving cream, the scent is subtle and not too strong.

The Bond street balms are fantastic and sandlewood is no exception. Nice wood/musk smell and a tube that lasts 4-5 months. Value.

I was looking for an aftershave and that s what it said on the product. Little did i know gel is very different from balm. Feels great on skin, although not sure about the pleasant sharp smell (may last up to 2 days) and the fact that your face literally shines after the gel.
