Great brush, does have a slight animal smell, but that's probably because it's made from badger hair!
First shave with this brush I tried my normal face lathering and wasn't impressed, since then i've bowl lathered and found it fantastic. Whips up a good creamy lather in no time!!

Good brush for the price, very comfortable on the face and whips up a nice lather without too much effort. Lost 1 or 2 hairs in the first few uses but nothing after that. I cant really say mine ever smelled of 'animal' so no complaints there. I gave it 4 stars because a minor niggle is the handle feels a little bit light weight and 'plasticy' but for £18 you cant really knock it. As always 5* service from the TSC.
A good brush - just need to buy a stand for it now!
Every time i shave one or two hairs come unstuck from the brush
Brush is superb I am using it every day. Why did I struggle on for so long without it ???
The benefits outweigh the initial smell of animal hair, so stick with it. A convert to traditional shaving now!
