Used to using cream rather than soap so noticeable how much longer it took to get a lather. However happy with the shave it achieved.
Lathers up very well and leaves my skin feeling soft.
Takes a while to build a good lather but that may be downt to inexperience but great smell. Doesn't dry out the skin and leaves it feeling soft.

It takes a little more effort to get this shaving soap to make a nice lather but it's worth the effort. I use this soap at the weekend when I have more time to use this soap and then appreciate the close shave and the way my skin feels after using it.
Rich and creamy, long lasting on the face for a good shave with a pleasant fragrance. This is my first purchase from the Edwin Jagger range but it won't be my last.
I bought the Aloe Vera and Also the Buckthorn after looking for some shaving soap to replace my usual cheap Wilkinson sword. However I am amazed at how thick and creamy the lather is on this soap, you hardly need any to get a fantastic shave, it is therefore still going strong 7 months later and will definitely be on my shopping list again. Good quality and great value.
I have both the sea buckthorn and Aloe Vera versions. Both are good soaps with a nice feel and lather, personally I prefer the smell of this Aloe Vera soap. Lasts a decent time too, and the refills are good value.
