Bought this for travelling and I am disappointed. Too big, too heavy, underlying 'tallow' type of smell and really very poor compared to the Edwin Jagger shaving soap I use. Incidentally, the Edwin Jagger Lime and Pomegranate after shave balm was terrific but it has been discontinued!
Like another reviewer I use the sandalwood cream from this manufacturer. The stick is nothing like the cream and the stick is far chunkier than I thought so not the handy little travel stick I was hoping for. It works fine and at £8.95 wasn't too expensive but I also purchased a smaller almond stick from another manufacturer and prefer that.
My brother just loves the sandalwood I bought him the shaving bowl for xmas he loved it so much he wanted a travel stick.He is very impressed.

not keen on this product. I have been using sandalwood shaving cream for 12 months now, love the rich lather and the smell. So thought i would try the stick from same manufacturer. The smell is nothing like the cream i use and is not very pleasant either, and it does not lather up very well. I would not buy this again instead I will either try the proper soap next time or carry on with cream.

The shaving sticks look a good size and smell great. They are a present so haven t received feedback about using them yet.
