I bought a DE87 but changed the handle for another one I preferred. Been using a DE razor for a few weeks now and this is THE best shave I've ever had, not sure if that's down to the razor head or the feather blade, been using Derby until now. Less passes, much less razor rash and far less irritation, would definitely recommend the combination of the DE87 with the feather blades to anyone

Very pleased with this razor. After using electric razors for many years I find that shaving in the traditional way gives much better results.
I ordered several other items at the same time and everything was of excellent quality and promptly delivered.
A lovely razor and the one I always go back to. Supplied with a pack of Derby blades which some people like but I think are garbage. Personna blades at £1.89 for 10 from Asda are impossible to beat. A word of warning - clean these immediately if you get blood on them. I cut my finger on them (very stupid) and did not thoroughly clean the chrome which now looks a bit rusty where the blood went. I must have dragon's blood or something. Still shaves great though - a pleasure to use.
I've used this razor for about a year now and I still love it. Really nice to use fits in the hand well without slipping and looks great really classy. I use it with feather blades or persona and it gives a brilliant close shave. Made from Sheffield steel which is good for a proud Yorkshire man like me
A really nice unit - perfect weight too!
I have shaved twice with this razor, and on both occasions i have had to return to my Mach 3, as my face was a mass of cuts. I am not convinced it is a closer shave than the Mach 3. And cetainly much more difficult to avoid cutting the skin.
A high quality product. Good 'heft' and a very clean, close shave. Excellent rapid delivery. Well presented and my son was particularly appreciative of the toffees! A nice touch I thought.

My first DE razor and its clear I'm in need of a bit of practice. Despite a few nicks my face was smooth as a window pane. Highly recommended.
This was my first de razor after always using Mach 3 etc. it's taken me about four shaves to get used to it, but I love the closeness of the shave and only had one small nick which is better than normal shaving for me. I was in Leeds and visited the store and they were very helpful friendly - great product and great service , oh and it works out lots cheaper than Gillette Mach 3 for razors

A lovely razor which feels very manly in the hand. Easy to change the blade. It gave a very smooth shave with minimal effort. No problems so far.
My second DE razor, the previous one being a cheap one which proved tricky to use. What a difference with the DE 87. The balance between head and shaft is perfect for me. The head glides well and the cutting angle is neither too mild or over aggressive.
A beautiful looking and solid razor, my first 'real' one but felt perfectly natural and comfortable to use, and quite effortless!

Quality, quality, QUALITY. What can I say about this razor that hasn t already been said? As soon as you open the packaging, it oozes quality. Gives a better shave than any cartridge razor as well, a razor that I shall cherish.
I took the precaution of using this product for a year before commenting, but perhaps should have waited five or more years. Time will tell. Anyway, so far so good and the DE87 still seems as new. Using my favourite Wilkinson blades the DE87 is very easy to use and delivers a smooth and comfortable shave. The weight and size suits me and the smooth faux ivory handle does not slip.

As an owner of several current generation DE razors and some vintage, this is easily the most aesthetically pleasing and best quality finish razor I have ever seen. It s simply perfect looking, with a finish which would impress anyone. As for shaving, it s a fairly aggressive razor suited to the more experienced / more stubbly shaver. That being said it shaves beautifully, it s refined, smooth, and close. My favourite razor ever.
In my opinion, this is the best safety razor head now a day. Absolute lovely safety razor.
