Nice quality item. Works well and when used with shaving soap makes up a lather quite quickly.
A nice firm brush
A very good, reasonably firm brush. The hair is well packed and gives, in my opinion a perfect firmness. Exceptionally good at generating a thick, creamy lather. Looses a few hairs to start with but soon settles down.
I recently returned to "proper" shaving after 20 or so years messing about with modern cartridge multi blades, foams and gels and even electrics. What was I thinking of ?! Soak this brush on very warm water for a few minutes before applying your soap/cream of choice and you'll be rewarded with a lovely prickle free start to the morning. It dries well (upside down) and holds its shape and so far I have not detected any loss of hairs from the tightly packed brush. Service, packaging, delivery (and fudge) were first class.
