Has a nice fragrance, very subtle, lathers well and can tell will last a while. Bowl is of good quality and overall a good buy.

Excellent creamy lather, nice to use, but fragrance is just not there - you can smell it from the bowl but doesn't survive the lathering process.

Chose this soap as part of the starter set with my DE89. Has a nice fragrance and looks like it's going to last me a long while. I can't always produce a good lather with this soap, but I'm putting that down to my inexperience for now (I'm only 2 weeks into proper shaving). I have produced some great lather with this soap, but cannot yet get a perfect lather every time. I think if I could choose again I would go with a cream to start with until I had improved my lathering technique.
