Minimal smell and only a moderate lather for a shaving cream. I don't have senstive skin so I can't comment on that aspect of the cream.
Good product
I've been using this product for 5 months now, lathers very well and has a very subtle scent which I personally prefer to heavily scented products. Gives a very comfortable shave with my ej 89de and Astra blades. It's also very reasonably priced
The Jermyn Street shaving cream is the first cream I've ever used and it brings a wonderful shaving experience to me. Although I didn't expect the smell to be a little too floral and sweet, I was looking for something more woody. But over all it's very easy to lather with just a small amount of cream, the texture is thick and slick. Worth a try!
I was recommended this product as Zirh Shaving Cream was out of stock. I had used Zirh for a number of years and was interested to compare it with the Taylor product. Unfortunately, the experience was not great at all and I had to stop using it after a few shaves. I found it noticeably dried and irritated the skin and for a couple hours afterwards I was still feeling the aftereffects.
A brilliant cream copious amounts of lather from a very small amount of cream, subtle fragrance as one would expect of a Taylors product.

Bought for my son who has sensitive skin and he loves it. Prompt delivery and no postage/delivery charge which is fabulous.
There is little I can add to the comments already made. The Jermyn Street Shaving Cream has a pleasant smell, is easy to lather and produces a very comfortable shave. It is also, to my mind, very reasonably priced. I also commend the Traditional Shaving Company for the speed of despatch, for free. Thanks also for the extras - if only my wife and daughter hadn't got to them first.
Absolutely superb comfort and protection, very slick as well having tried truefitt and hill ultimate comfort and geo f trumpers coconut shaving creams I can safely say that the jermyn cream is the best around, trumpers and truefitt and hill are all hype and shaving snobs use them because they are extortionate price wise, but taylor of old bond street deliver shaving creams as good if not better for alot less and the jermyn cream in my mind is the best of them all, dont fall for the shaving snob hype.

Top cream. I have numerous creams from expensive to cheap. This is up there with the best I have. Great smell, lathers up really well and a top shave.
I love all of the Taylor's creams and my favourites are Sandalwood and the St.James. I thought I would try this also and it is just as good as the others performance wise. The only reason i have knocked a star off is that I also was expecting a little more fragrance too. My opinion so don't let me put you off as it is a big favourite of a lot of people.
I usually buy the Taylor sandalwood shaving cream which I like - thought I would try the Jermyn Street this time for a change. The cream itself is a good product and gives a comfortable shave but there is little or no scent which was a bit disappointing.

Excellent stuff
I have used several quality creams over the years but Jermyn Street is turning out to be the best. A close and very comfortable shave from a miniscule amount of cream on my Kent badger brush means a tub should last for months and work out far cheaper that the 'G' goo from a famous-brand pressurised can. A very pleasant scent and no burn or rash on my sensitive neck area adds to the shaving pleasure. Great, great value.
Having tried many creams this is my current favourite. Only a tiny amount needed on the tip of my badger hair brush to give three creamy passes with enough left over for a fourth. I am usually sceptical of claims but the claim of Jermyn Street being suitable for sensitive skin seems justified. A subtle scent, a comfortable rash-free shave and the prospect of months of use from a single tub warrants my 5-star rating. I now wait ... and wait ... and wait ... and wait on a Castle Forbes delivery but suspect the product will be hard pressed to out-gun Taylor's Jermyn Street.
TOBS has done it yet again. ! Dare I say ...I prefer it than Sandalwood which is also amazing, and I have St James cream on delivery...but this Jermyn Street is outstanding.
What a brilliant product, on a completely different plain to the aerosols of gel/foam from the "big boys", the razor just glides across your face giving you a wonderful close shave with no razor burn.

My son had previously always used shaving foam but he was always suffering with spots and folliculitis. So decided to give this shaving cream a go having read reviews for this product Put it this way my 19 yr old son won't be going back to the foam. The shaving cream lathers up really well and smells good too. My son says that he gets a better shave using the shaving cream and would recommend this product for sensitive skin.

Consumption of shaving foam in two passes approximately 1 gram, this is a very good result! Cream perfectly holds the moisture foam is very good and razor glide perfectly! By the way the smell of a very steady after use.

Superb stuff...Just the smallest dab on the end of the brush produces almost comical amounts of wonderful smelling luxurious foam..the more you brush the more lather appears.....the fragrance as with most fragrances is difficult to define..clean and fresh but delicate at the same time.......Highly recommended..

Have been using the Eton shaving cream and have found it gave a very nice shave. Decided to try the "sensitive skin" cream out of interest more than anything else but I am sure it will be every bit as good as the "Eton" cream. I will buy your products from now on.
This is a top of the range item. While many things get talked up these days, I can honestly assure you that this is one of the best creams I have ever used. A superb shave and the bonus is that it’s just so gentle.
