Not used anything else but this seems to do what it says.
Tried a couple of others, only been using this a week or so, it seems a bit heavy at first but if you add a little water in your hand before you put it on, gives a terrific shave and no irritation.

Thought I would try this oil as my regular supplier had run out of my usual choice, on the strength that Taylor's are a well established and respected purveyor of shaving products and so should have an oil of similar quality. I have found it to be very good although it doesn't quite give me the same degree of comfort and closeness that I get from my original product. However, it is a pretty good alternative for the time being and might even encourage me to experiment with some of the other oil products available from Taylor's.

I bought this as the e-shave pre-shave oil I wanted to try was out of stock. Mildly dissapointed to be honest...it s not that it s a bad product, just that I didn t really notice any improvement when using this before applying my usual soap/ cream. Also the smell for me is a little too much and too "perfumey". Could just be that my cream is so good already that this is superfluous.
This oil is OK, but nothing compared to original Egyptian sandalwood oil. One passover with the razor and it s gone. Smells kind of like an pharmacist s cabinet, but it s hardly noticeable. Ridiculous lack of spout tip makes it easy to make a mess. Not worth 10 quid, but for half it would be great

Due to the extreme sensitivity of my skin I have been using oil for a while, was using the cheap super market stuff but thought I try this, and I can honestly say, this is a superb oil, all I use is about 3 drops and my skin is well protected from the safety razor, its always smells fantastic and its a great post shave too. Just add a drop to your face, adds a good coat to stop irritation and adds a good smell to your face.
