I have had this aftershave for a few weeks, so here are my reactions. At first I felt like I had wasted my money. I had never smelt bay rum before, but imagined a tropical holiday. I open the bottle and smell... cloves. I didn't realise that this scent is the signature scent of Bay Rum. So a lot of people won't like this because of that first reaction. But after a while using this I can say this is a top aftershave. The scent mellows into a very nice accent that is more reminiscent of a pirate in a bay than a holiday in the tropics. The scent lasts for hours and my skin feels great afterwards. I do find though that I only want to wear this in summer when I'm in shorts and t-shirt. For going to work, the scent doesn't gell with my image of how I should smell, but that's great and variety is the spice of life. Looking forward to trying their other fragrances soon.
This really is clove heavy to an extreme. Very expensive and not a scent I enjoy. Definitely not an aftershave to go for unless you desire to smell like clove (i'm going back to Brut)
Just smells like cloves. A waste of money for the price. Won't buy again.
