I've been using this for a few years and since I switched to using a double edged razor. I prefer cream to soap and wifey likes the smell. It does the job and one large pea sized amount provides enough lather for two passes. Much better and much cheaper than the gel I used to use with my old multi blade razor.
To me there are two things about shaving cream that are important. 1. The scent and 2. The performance. The scent here is OK it isn't bad it just isn't as good as Castle Forbes or indeed as the other products in this same range. It smells more soapy than it does of limes, which may not be surprising but the Castle Forbes cream really doesn't. The performance on the other hand is second to none and certainly as good if not better than the aforementioned Castle Forbes. I use a heated scuttle for a nice warm lather and Castle Forbes lather deteriorates between passes due to the heat, that is not the case with this stuff it remains great throughout.
I have numerous creams and soaps but this is now top of the tree. Great comfort and scent.
The only other Truefitt & Hill cream I had in my Shaving Arsenal was the No.10. which I absolutely adore.
This West Indian Limes has convinced me that Truefitt & Hill make one of the finest Creams that is available today! Such a Fantastic Fragrance and performance, it will be very hard to beat. I want the Aftershave now!

Strong citrus scent might not be to everyone s liking, but I enjoy it...
West indian limes is in my opinion the best fragrance and i only use this for my shaving experinece. One tip is you whant to get a thicker more robust lather i sometimes prime with a truefitt and hill shaving soap and then mix in the shaving cream. Thus creating a more robust and firmer foam.
