Excellent lather , nice fragrance and a very smooth shave , quality shaving cream.
I Purchased this along with a Taylor's of Bond St Sandalwood cream. I have now used both of them for a while and I am edging towards a slight preference for Cyril Salter's cream. Providing you have soaked your brush in hot water and you spend a minute or so forming a rich and lubricating lather, you should be rewarded with a softened beard and an easy shave. I also like the scent which is to me unobtrusive and subtle. I certainly recommend this product and will but it again.

A superb cream that produces a fluffy rich foam with a subtle and gorgeous scent. My absolute favourite.

A good quality cream that produces a decent lather. Personally I didn't like the smell but the cream gives a very smooth shave which is the primary function of a cream in my book. However after a few days use I developed some sort of reaction with a stinging sensation just above the cheeks. It must be a reaction to one of the ingredients. Although this will obviously not happen with everyone! I now use the cream periodically in a rotation with others and its fine. When it runs out I will give one of the other Salter fragrances a go - as creams go they give as good a shave as some of the more expensive brands.
Quality shaving soaps and creams are, in my experience, hugely better than any aerosol from the 'Big G'. My normal brand is Taylor but I have been impressed by the results from Salter's Sandalwood. Great value, my only minor criticism being that I slightly prefer the scent of Taylor's Sandalwood.

Smells gorgeous, really smooth and creamy.
Foams a bit and gives excellent lubrication with a subtle pleasing scent.
Firdst time I tried this product - unfortunately don t like the slightly sickly perfme, and don t like the texture at all - will be trying something else next time!
