Very good shaving soap
Very good shaving soap , nice lather and makes for a quality shave.
Disappointed
One word: disappointed. Here's why. For many years I was a happy user of Crabtree and Evelyn's Sandalwood shaving soap. Then about two years ago the product formulation was changed resulting in the lather rapidly drying on the face and making for a very unpleasant shaving experience. I then switched to l'occitane's Cade shaving soap which was great. But that's now discontinued hence my purchase of the G F Trumper sandalwood soap. Unfortunately this soap displays the same problem I had with the Crabtree and Evelyn version so I'm inclined to think that both these soaps are sourced from the same original manufacturer. All in all, this experience has convinced me to switch to shaving gel.
I have been using Trumpers shaving soap now for possibly 10 years and I am happy with the product. The Traditional Shaving Company provide a good service at a good price.
Geo F Trumpers sandalwood shaving soap is one of the best I have tried so far. A bit difficult to latter up but gives exellent protection and a close shave. Smells very nice.
I used to only wet shave on weekends away then decided to move to daily as so much more pleasant and effective. Trumpers are best by a country mile and this is a very long-lasting round bar at a great price - and free postage too. Very well packaged too - will certainly recommend your Company to others.
As Always. A top product. Always gives a good close shave.
