Michael Waterhouse has been producing handmade bespoke straight razors, high end chef's knives and leather goods for over ten years. Michael makes every piece entirely by hand in his workshop in the picturesque spa town of Ilkley in West Yorkshire using the highest quality materials available. A long time straight razor user and restorer, he now produces stunningly crafted straight razors which take influence from classic designs but also have a very contemporary look.

I can't recommend this strop highly enough. I picked mine up directly from the store in Leeds (well worth a visit). I use this every day and have for a number of months. It still looks great and shows almost no signs of use. The light colour does mean that splashes will mark the leather, but that in no way takes away from the outstanding quality. Worth every penny IMHO

A beautiful work of art. Quality is excellent and should last many years. A great functional piece of essential straight razor equipment.

Though I only started using straights in March/ April of this year and whilst my experience with strops is fairly limited (only having owned two before this) I purchased one of these directly from Michael some months ago and have found it to be (simply) of excellent quality, beautifully made and and excellent item to use.
