I have a lot of Silvertip brushes. The Simpsons is easily the Best Shaving Brush I have Had. Dense Loft and Knot. Brings up richer lather and makes shaving a pleasure. Buy on or two, it's worth it.

This is a fantastic brush with hair far superior to silvertip EJ knots in my opinion. With its fan shape and dense knot this is ideal for face lathering. It has a lovely balance of scrub and soft tips with no scritch at all. Don't be put off by its small size. It is well balaced and flows well with one of the most elegant handles Simpson produce. The measurements of my brush are: knot 21mm loft 45mm height 90mm. This is a fabulous and versatile brush that is truly luxurious to use. You could not be disappointed.
