The razor has a nice build, but the grip on the handle is poor and very slippy when shaving.

Plus i don't think it cuts as well the Merkur HD 34C.

I'm quite disappointed with the razor. I was expecting better.

Nice razor to use its my number one, good weight nice to handle. I find it goes rather well with Wilkinson Sword Blades but each to their own.

A beautifully made razor, a. It has a nice ‘heft’ to it that makes it stable in the hand, and it shaves perfectly, and with great comfort, wouldnt know a blade was in it if it wasnt for the magnificent result.

Just what I was looking for

Was recommended this razor by one of the TTSC advisors as most suitable for lady's needs. I was worried that I end up cutting myself as in the product description it states it is not suitable to be used for any other areas, but the face. To my surprise, it is very easy to use, although it does need time getting used to. Would recommend to any lady or gent for that matter.

I bought this razor in the shop in Leeds. As I was on my way home after a few days walking (light weight) on the moors I was a bit dishevelled but the service was perfect and could not be faulted. I explained what I was looking for and the assistant was able to help and advise from a sound knowledge of the products available.

I looked at a selection of long-handled razors and this one just felt right. The thicker handle allows for a nice grip without having to hold it tight. The weight gives the whole razor a nice solid, well engineered, feel. The chrome finish is superb and cleans-up after use to a brilliant shine. In build and appearance this razor cannot be faulted. Now the bit about how well it shaves - it gives the best shave I have ever had, whether with foam or better still with shaving cream and a good brush.

That hour that I spent in Leeds between trains was really well spent (and the toffees were nice as well!)

Great razor. I chose this one because of the longer handle as I also shave my head, and this model offers greater comfort and stability in use than the shorter versions. A good close shave, and I have to agree with 'Geordie Sam' ~ it is indeed a 'Rolls Royce' of a razor.

Fantastic quality razor chrome finish has no blemishes at all, nice heavy razor. Next day delivery after ordering packaged superbly in proper box, you even get pieces of fudge in the box. Tim at the shop was more than helpful when asking for advice, so pleased with the serviced I have placed my third order in a week.

A beautifully crafted razor, as one would expect of German engineering. It has a nice ‘heft’ to it that makes it stable in the hand, and it shaves perfectly. I wear a goatee, and this razor makes trimming the edges simple and quick. I have given this 5 stars, as I cannot find fault with it.
