I have already commented on this excellent soap after buying the refill earlier so this is about the bowl. A good quality smooth finished wood with a nice grain showing and the lid has a lip to sit over the bowl nicely and a small thumb index finger lifter. It’s not a very tight fit but then I have another two brands of wooden bowl and they are much the same so it’s no different from the others. I would recommend this as it means that the puck can be held easily within the bowl when picking up soap on the brush.
