Penhaligons Hammam Bouquet EDT 50ml

Penhaligons Hammam Bouquet EDT 50ml image
Price: £58.00

Inspired by the scent of the Turkish Baths on Jermyn Street, Piccadilly, Hammam Bouquet is a daring oriental created by William Penhaligon in 1872. Animalic and golden, it is warm and mature, redolent of old books, powdered resins and ancient rooms. At its heart is dusky Turkish rose, with jasmine, woods, musk and powdery orris. Heady and glamorous, Hammam Bouquet is evocative of the Edwardian era of decadence and excess. Penhaligon's fine fragrances are made in England using the finest rare ingredients; from hand-squeezed bergamot, to jasmine at twice the price of gold. The signature Penhaligons fragrance bottle is to William Penhaligon's original design: clear glass with a distinctive ribbon-wrapped top.

About Penhaligons

Penhaligon's of London have been producing their scents in England for over 135 years. Using only the finest rare ingredients - from hand squeezed bergamot, to jasmine at twice the price of gold. It was founded by William Penhaligon in 1870 when he opened his first Barber shop on Jermyn Street, Mayfair. His first scent, Hammam Bouquet, was produced in 1872 and was inspired by the steam and sulphurous aromas of his neighbouring Turkish baths. Today Penhaligon's continue to lead the way by working with master perfumers who are able to interpret their distinctive ideas into creative and innovative perfumery.
