The Progress is an outstanding razor. I also shave with a Muhle R89, but getting to mild for my liking. The Progress I received is faultless, in view of some of the known issues with this particular razor. The plating is spot on. It's hefty and shaves beautifully.

Love the weight and ability to adjust. I sold off my EJ DE89 after I had this. Not a fan of the bulky head though.

Gives a good shave if used properly and with the right blades. It's also great to have such a wide range of adjustment. The plastic knob on the end cheapens it slightly but this is really just nit-picking.
