Dovo Black/Silver Shavette Razor

This is the second straight razor i have bought, all i can say is i love the product. The previous straight razor i had was those ordinary cheap ones. But upgrading to this you can so tell the difference in the angles you could get far more easily than with those cheap ones.My only criticism is there could have been more weight but its more of a personal preference. But i believe you can buy the metal handle version. Much to my surprise is they do include the black and red handle and sample blade. which other resellers aint provinding so thank you tradionalshaving, and loved the touch with those sweets in the box. will shop here again :D.

Excellent intro to straight shaving, although I didn't think much of the Dovo blade that came with it. Switched it out for my trusty feathers. As long as you don't mind a bit of blood loss in the pursuit of a new skill you'll get along fine. Only thing I will say is it's unnervingly light, although this is an upside for travel once you are used to it.

Great razor - love it. Gives a great edge to sideburns, stubble and beards.

I bought this shavette razor as i want to eventually get into using a cut throat razor. I chose to buy this first so that i can practise technique without having to constantly hone the blade. With this shavette the blade can be simply replaced as easily as with a safety razor. The red blade insert takes half of a traditional DE razor blade. This shavette looks very smart and is simple to clean and maintain. Although i am still practising with it i enjoy using it. I would recommend this product to anybody who wants to experience a straight shave.
